Feedback from Leadership meeting 29.2.12
- HCA - I know it's going to sound nerdy, but I really enjoyed tonight's meeting
- PTH - Liked the fact that the presenting was shared
- PTH - Also thought the change of venue was a good idea. Too squashy in the Conference Room
- KSY - It was great that there didn't seem to be any cutting off
- KSY - lots of people spoke up and contirbuted
- ABA enjoyed the meeting itself
- Both ABA and CAM raised the issue of equity of voice amongst the Leading Teachers when 3 LTs are members of the CAT Team
- ABA just asked about the selection process for LTs to be on the CAT team as he might have been interested in applying too
- STA thought the meeting was fine. Her only thought was that it was similar to the BCI work with Roger DIngle a few years ago that ran its course because new staff never knew about it and nobody owned nor worked to ensure that it had longevity. We talked about the sustainability of the work from last night and that it will need to revisited regularly to ensure remains part of our culture
- KSY - It was good that we stopped the ideas activity because it showed how meetings can get off course, and how its OK to admit it and fix it
- SPE - thought it went well and despite slight impatience with the process (she has been around for a long time and is impatient by nature- her words not mine) sees that this has potential to really change the culture (ADU)
- KTO - thought it was really useful and felt encouraged and energized by the interactions, thought it was very successful and had a different feeling to previous meetings (ADU)
- ADU- i learnt what not to do which is always helpful! I also thought Sue's comments re her being able to express ideas without others thinking she has a vested interest were very appropriate. she also invited staff to have the courage to challenge and argue their case.
- ADU - Jo spoke more honestly and confidently than in any other leadership meeting! the next night she had a long conversation with Nicole exploring ideas she got from our session and how she might incorporate similar approach in her VCE meetings. Andrew seemed genuinely engaged & interested
- ADU - the only person not really connecting was Melissa and we need to talk about her reaction after the meeting
